Advocacy
In this section you can find ways to get involved in the brain injury community, as well as learn how to advocate for persons with brain injury and their needs.
Family Support
Family Support is the Alliance’s free care coordination program to help families access needed services and supports.
Helpline (1-800-669-4323)
The Alliance’s Helpline is available to persons with a brain injury, family members or friends, professionals and the public. This section includes information on how to reach us, as well as articles and other resources for individuals with brain injury and their loved ones.
Outreach Efforts
In an effort to raise awareness about brain injury and the impact it has on people's lives, the Alliance regularly reaches out to a number of groups throughout the state that assist people with brain injury and their families.
Prevention
Prevention is the only cure for brain injury. We have several prevention programs and websites geared toward schools, employers, and the general public.
Support Groups
Find a local brain injury support group where you can go meet others with similar interests.
TREK
TREK is the Alliance’s week-long residential camp program. It provides a week of independence, recreation and socialization for adults with brain injury, while their caregivers enjoy a week of respite.

For persons with acquired brain injuries, the ability to advocate for themselves is an important component of rehabilitation, and a key to long-term positive outcomes. By playing a role in decisions that affect them, survivors of brain injury are empowered to take charge of their lives.
