Registration FAQs

Q: Do I have to “create an account” when I register?
A: Yes. This process is the first step toward setting up your personal fundraising page. When you have completed this process you will need to login to your personal fundraising center using your email address and the password you set up for your account. Be sure to put your email and password where you can easily retrieve them when you want to work in your fundraising center.

Q: My whole family is coming! Do I need to register each one separately?
A: Yes. Each individual participating in the Walk for Brain Injury Awareness must register as an individual or as a team member. If your whole family is participating in the event then it is a good idea to select a family member as a Team Captain, give your Team a name and register the remaining family members as Team Members.

Q: What if I only want to be a fundraiser and will not be at the Walk?
A: There is an option in the registration process that allows you to register as a Fundraiser Only.

Q: Will I get a free T-shirt?
A: You need to pre-register by September 25, 2017 to receive a free T-shirt.

Q: Do I need to mail my donations to the Alliance?
A: You can mail the donations you collect to the Alliance any time prior to the Walk or you can bring them with you to the Walk site and turn them in at the registration table.

Q: I’m not sure I can get there on the day of the Walk. Can I register at the Park on the day of the Walk?
A: Yes, on-site registrations will be accepted at all Walk locations. Registration is $25 for ages 18 and over, $20 for members, $15 for ages 13-17, and free for ages 12 and under.
