Jim Foster serves as the Assistant Clinical Director at ReMed, a provider of rehabilitation and residential services to adult traumatic brain injury survivors. He has also spent the past five year as Adjunct Faculty at Harcum College’s Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Jim has served as a Facility Rehab Coordinator with Prostep Rehab and Director of Rehabilitation Services at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital. He was Assistant Chief of Occupational Therapy at Temple University Hospital where he currently provides PRN Occupational Therapy services. Jim has presented at multiple regional and national conferences on traumatic brain injury rehab.
There is a significant amount of traumatic brain injury survivors who experience sleep disorders during their recovery. Research will be presented that discusses impact, specifically on cognition. In addition, causes specific to traumatic brain injury survivors and effective interdisciplinary interventions will be discussed to address this key feature that is present in many survivor’s lives.
