Heads Up Seniors!

elderly_parents1 in 3 people over the age of 65 will fall each year and 60% of these falls will occur at home!

‘Heads Up! Seniors’ is a fall prevention and pedestrian safety presentation designed to help older adults lead independent lives.

Participants will learn about traumatic brain injury and how to best prevent falls and pedestrian accidents that can lead to such injuries. This educational presentation includes materials on brain injury in seniors, a safety checklist and an interactive game show event.

A Matter Of Balance


MOBTrainingA Matter of Balance is designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels among older adults. The program is conducted in eight two-hour sessions and uses small group discussion, problem-solving strategies, videos and gentle physical exercise to assist mature adults in learning positive coping methods, remain active, and independent.
